Engineering & Technical Overview
The Electro Hydraulic Thruster is a heavy-duty industrial fail-safe braking assembly manufactured by CMK Electro Power for Electric Overhead Travel (EOT) cranes, winches, conveyors, and heavy industrial machinery. Operating on the fail-safe spring-applied principle, the brake shoes are clamped firmly onto the brake drum by heavy calibrated compression springs and released electro-hydraulically when the 3-phase 415V thruster is energized. Fitted with asbestos-free curved brake linings and precision adjustment screws, it guarantees smooth, shock-free deceleration and rock-solid holding torque under full rated crane loads.
